Out of the mouths of Babes!
Me-"How was school today?"
Kindergartener-"Good"
Me-"How was your teachers today? She is great, isn't she?"
Kindergartener-"Yeah, she is really, nice, I like her!"
Me-"Wow, that is so nice!"
Kindergartener-"Mom, can we get her a Christmas present?"
Me-"Sure, what do you think she would want or needs?"
Kindergartener-"Something for her eyebrows, it looks like she has caterpillars on her face"
Me-"::giggle:: what do you mean?
Kindergartener-"Something to remove them"

Where has the summer gone?

Where has the summer gone?
In just less than 4 hours, my two oldest children will start back to grade school! And tomorrow the two youngest will follow- One starting Pre-K and the other--dare I say, Nursery School.
We will finally have the house all to ourselves Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9a-3p. Of course depending on our schedules too.
I once worked with a woman, who at the time had 7 kids, now she has 10--she told me, "it was going to be depressing this year, I'm only going to have 4 kids at home with during the day."?!
I thought she was crazy-but I'm actually going to miss the little ones==Now Who Is Crazy??!!!
Eventhough, I am so happy for them to be back in school-I feel as though this summer completely went by us and I did not have enough time off.
We made a nice list together of all the things we would like to do during the summer and only accomplished a few a them. I hope next summer we get to do almost everything on the list!

Nothing new here.
So, this past week has been very busy, half due to a horrible schedule at work, half due to the fact- we are one week from school starting(can you see the smile on my face)?
I saw some amazing surgeries this week, I am lucky enough to work for an institution that does EXIT procedures. And let me just say that if Mom complains of post-op pain, she is in no ways lying about it!!!!!!!
Other than that, nothing else is new---my daughter cut her hair Again!
Lord help me- it is the worst cut I have ever seen, sad news is that she actually thinks it looks good. She has no bangs and a bald spot right on top of her head. It will probably take at least 6months to 1 year before I will be able to use some sort of accessories to make it look normal.
I never cut my hair, but I did cut the hair of a girl I was friends with in the forth grade, her mother never let me play with her after that(LOL)! Maybe it is some sort of genetic factor we have.
Do you ever cut your hair or anyone elses?
