don't have to much to say!

Sorry I have not been able to write much, complete writers block to say the least.

I'm not writing much about nursing anymore because work is way to depressing, when you work for one of the only hospitals that does fetal surgery/treatment, it completly sucks!

I need to transfer to another department before I lose my mind and go Ape Shit at work one day soon.

Plus, I finally found the Twilight series..........hopefully I will finish book four by the end of this long weekend ahead of me, I am scheduled for the entire weekend for night shift.

More to come....at least I hope!

Sunday Stealing

Today we ripped off TWO memes and made them one! The first five questions are stolen from blogger Emily Rosenbaum at Wheels on a Bus. She explains she grabbed it from Lola's blog, and since Lola "is the sassiest of mamas" Emily titled the meme as The Sassiest Meme. So that's the story of today's title. The final five questions were ripped from Midlife Mama from the blog Midlife Musings. She stole it from her "dear friend" over at Midlife Slices where it was originally written. So, it is almost a virgin meme. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing! Cheers to all us thieves! Sunday Stealing: The Sassy Meme

1. If you could say anything you wanted to say to George Bush, what would you say? Good-Freaking Bye, don't let the door hit you on your ass on the way out!

2. If you had to be the mother of Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan, who would you choose and why? Goodness, now that is a hard one, but I think I'd have to go with Britney.

3. You get to be Queen for a day. The kids are all taken care of, and you can spend as much money as you want. What do you do all day? Take a very long nap, I would imagine I would sleep very well because no one would be waking me up to ask any questions, then I would take a long drive in my new hybrid SUV to the spa for a deep massage, manicure, wax, hair cut etc.... then off to a romantic dinner with the The Other Half with no one else there but the Foo's playing our favorite songs after dinner and then getting hammered with Dave Grohl and Taylor afterwards, and the best part NO-hangover the following morning!

4. Is there a song that brings tears to your eyes every time you hear it? If so, which one? Daddy's Little Girl, especially at weddings-it gets me every time.

5. A fairy taps you on the shoulder and tells you that you can either have a perfect face or a perfect body for the rest of your life. Which do you choose? Definitely the Body, I have a personal reason why, but that is for another time.

6. If you could live any place in the world and money was no object, where would you live and why? We recently traveled to Southern California and I would love to move somewhere warmer...even though I have always loved the cold winter months for some reason this year has be hard for me on the East Coast and if money was no object we could visit the East Coast for the holidays.

7. What is your biggest regret in life? Just not listening to my Parents and Grandmother.

8. If you could go back and visit one person in your life who is now dead, and ask one question, what would that question be and why would you ask it? My Aunt Kathy died when I was 5 in a terrible car accident. I was at my Grandmothers home the night it happened when the police took us to the hospital. I would love to know exactly what happened that night, the reason why etc..... The accident occurred over 30 years ago, I feel as if there has never been proper closure.

9. If you had the choice to age forward (like we are now) or aging backwards (think Benjamin Buttons) which would you choose and why? Forward

10. What will the epitaph on your headstone say? Wonderful Wife and Mother

Sunday Stealing

Today we ripped this meme off a blogger called Woozie at Tome of Communism. He explains that he's 18, not a communist and obviously he uses a rather unusual avatar. We aren't doing anything but stealing the meme. Woozie admits he stole this meme, but doesn't say from where. But, it was probably stolen at that blog as well. But that is as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time.

Saturday 9

Welcome to Saturday: 9 . What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!

1. Where had you moved from? I moved from my home living with my Father.
2. Describe your first apartment. Beige walls, beige carpets, beige kitchen and a white/beige bathroom-it was depressing now that I think about it, but it was ALL mine!!
3. How old were you when you had your apartment? 24 years young
4. Did you have roommates? Yes, Jameson-a black lab puppy, who ripped the place apart! He managed to chew every corner of the brand new rug up in each of the rooms and to make the rectangle coffee table into an oval looking thing, it sort of looked like a coffee table after he was done......And the Other Half who was not officially The Other Half yet, he spent a lot of time at the apartment with me.
5. What was your place of employment then? I had my first job as an RN, I was living 70 miles from my job and decided to move to that apartment, it cut down the commute to 45 minutes to an hour-one way---Gosh, I was crazy back then!!!
6. How were you finances at the time? Horrible to say the least! I got engaged, I was living at home for close to nothing, thought it would be cool to be on my own, working full-time with a hefty commute trying to save money, plan a wedding and raise a puppy and pay my student loans, by the way I'm still paying them off!!
7. Tell us about a lover who spent a night there. Sorry, I don't kiss and tell.
8. Tell us about a band you listen to then. (You can cheat. Look it up.) Nirvana, of course, Collective Soul, Candlebox, Oasis, NIN, and RHCP's.

9. How long did you live there and why did you move from there? I lived there for about a year before The Other Half and I made it official we would buy a home together and live in sin, one year before before tying the knot! I'm sure my parents were very proud!!!

Sunday Stealing on an early tuesday morning

Today we ripped this meme off a blogger called Kat (It was Kat who named this meme: The Hardest Meme Ever.), at 3 Bedroom Bungalow. She explains that Jim over at Irregularly Periodic Ruminations tagged her for it. But, it was probably stolen at that blog as well. But that is as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing! Cheers to all us thieves!

Sunday Stealing: The Hardest Meme Ever
1. What is the bravest thing that you feel you've ever done physically? 4, yes 4 c-sections, two classical and two low transverse, OUCH!
2. What is the bravest thing that you feel you've ever done emotionally? Let someone go
3. What one talent do you wish you had that you don't? To be able to play the piano well.
4. If you had that talent what would you be doing with it? Hopefully making millions from being able to play the piano well and of course beautiful music.
5. We all have our reasons for blogging but what would be your ultimate goal for your blog or as a blogger? Stress relief
6. What advice would you give a new blogger? Write for yourself and no-one else.
7. Who are you three favorite blogs to visit (Yes, you can have ties and name more than three.) I do not play favorites
8. You can trade lives with any one person for a month. Who would it be and why? I would like to trade a month with one of the Dr.'s I work with....he is way to smart.....while he was in school getting smart, I was at rock concerts losing my hearing....so I'm curious...is it me or does he possess bionic hearing too, because I can never hear what the f&^% he is saying, either he needs to speak up or take the crap out of his mouth!!
9. There's a fire and your family is safe but you have the chance to save any one item from your house. What would it be and why? I would run back and take the pictures of the family with me.
10. You have the chance to go back in time and warn yourself before making a bad choice. What choice would it be and what would you tell yourself? All of our choices are learning experiences, but one thing that sticks in my head is from my father...."You are not going to only marry him, but his family too!" But even if I had heard him loud and clear, I would never have changed a thing! I have learned to agree with the Other Half's family, nod the head, smile and say, "Yup, your absolutely right", and then do whatever the hell you wanted to anyway:)))))

i'm leaving on a jet plane...don't know when I'll be back again

Yeah, I wish! Our schedule at work is packed...to say the least. Way to many inductions, surgeries and procedures. I'm picking up an extra shift, so I'll be out of commission of a few days......constantly in a hallucinogenic haze, trying to recover from night-shift!

Sunday Stealing

Today we ripped this meme off a blogger called Fatma at A Magnificant Life. She said she got the idea from Genie who got it from Danette. But, it was probably stolen at that blog as well. But that is as far as we go.

6. What do you wish for your body in 2009? I would be very toned and trim, and be a size - 2.(only kidding)
7. Name one new thing you would love to try in the New Year. To learn to play the piano.
8. What do you long for 2009 to bring? Health and Happiness, and some extra cash would not hurt either! I will look forward to calling out of work rich, instead of sick.
9. If that happened, how would you feel? Very healthy, very happy and very rich, of course.
10. Where would you love to vacation in 2009 if money were no object? I would like to travel back to Tahiti with the entire family and with a Nanny to keep the children busy.
11. What would you like the theme of 2009 to be? For everyone in my family to be healthy and happy.
12. If 2009 was a book, and the title was 5 words or less, what might the title be? From this day forward........

Have some freaking respect!

Okay, if your, "Baby Momma", is in labor and you and your ten hundred other family members are in the room to help support her, PLEASE do not sit at her bedside eating freaking McDonald's, and or any other foods while she is in labor ----and you have been told a few times she is only allowed ice chips. Then you and your entourage come back with all that horrible food and she tells you that the smell is making her sick and she starts to throw up........That is when, I consider it YOUR job to clean up the mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Lord, grow up, think of her instead of yourself!

some ramblings

First, Happy New Year to All who read!!

I am recovering from my "Fake Day Off", yes, I came home this am from work and have been functioning in some sort of hallucinogenic haze most of the day.

Today, I was thinking about many things....The New Year, #4's Birthday- which is today-my baby will turn 3, and the fact I am having Catholic guilt and really should go to Church....you see, I had a very rare medical condition with that pregnancy and after the delivery became a great part of medical books and part of national conferences.....pretty much sums up, I'm very lucky to be alive and even though right now it seems to me like a long time ago....to my family it was like yesterday, especially to the other half....so thank you, to all of the wonderful Maternal-Fetal Doctors, Anesthesiologists, Trauma Surgeons and Oncologists, etc....who have given me another wonderful year to spend with my family.
